Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) and EY India have jointly launched AI VIBE (Varsity for Innovation, Business and Economics), a 12-month industry-academia programme designed to help students build skills for an increasingly AI-driven economy.

The programme combines academic learning with industry exposure, practical projects and guided learning to help bridge the gap between traditional classroom education and the artificial intelligence capabilities increasingly expected in the workplace.
The initiative has been launched as a quality initiative under the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of SRCC and coincides with a significant milestone in the college's history.
SRCC-EY AI VIBE Programme: 100 Seats Available
The first cohort of the SRCCxEY AI VIBE programme will have 100 students.
EY India is fully sponsoring the 12-month programme, meaning selected students can participate without paying programme fees. The programme is designed as a continuous 12-month learning experience and does not provide an exit option.
Applications opened on August 17, 2026, and eligible students can apply until 11:59 pm on August 23, 2026.
With only 100 seats available, selection will be based on the prescribed application, assessment and interview process.
Who Can Apply for SRCC AI VIBE?
The programme is open to eligible SRCC students from specified undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Eligible undergraduate students include those in the second year of B.Com. (Hons.) and B.A. (Hons.) Economics.
Eligible postgraduate students include first-year M.Com. and PGDGBO students.
For undergraduate applicants, eligibility is also subject to securing a minimum of 66.7 per cent attendance during the first year.
Students should verify the complete eligibility requirements before submitting their applications.
AI VIBE Programme to Combine Classroom and Industry Learning
The SRCC-EY programme will follow a blended learning model, combining physical classroom sessions, live online classes, industry exposure, self-learning and project-based activities.
Physical sessions will be conducted at the SRCC campus on alternate Saturdays, with each session expected to run for around two to three hours.
Students will also participate in live, instructor-led virtual classes as part of the programme.
The industry component will include visits to EY Training Centres and interactions with EY professionals and other industry leaders. These sessions are intended to give students exposure to practical workplace applications of AI, business and economics.
Projects and Hackathons Included
AI VIBE will also place emphasis on applied learning.
Students will undertake guided self-learning through curated courses and work on individual or group projects linked to different subjects or learning clusters.
The programme will additionally feature hackathons, giving participants opportunities to work on time-bound challenges and apply their knowledge to practical problems.
This combination of academic instruction, industry interaction and project work is intended to provide students with experience beyond conventional classroom learning.
SRCC AI VIBE Application and Selection Dates
The application and selection process will take place over several stages.
Applications opened on August 17, 2026, and will close on August 23, 2026.
The online assessment is scheduled for August 26, followed by interviews between August 31 and September 4.
The final batch is expected to be confirmed on September 9, while classes are scheduled to begin on September 12, 2026.
The first cohort will ultimately comprise 100 selected students.
AI VIBE Programme: Key Opportunity for SRCC Students
The launch of AI VIBE comes as artificial intelligence continues to influence business, economics, finance and other professional fields.
By combining academic learning with industry exposure and hands-on projects, the programme aims to provide selected SRCC students with opportunities to understand how AI can be applied in professional and business environments.
Since the programme is fully sponsored by EY India, selected students can participate without programme fees or hidden costs.
Interested eligible students should complete their applications before the August 23 deadline and carefully review the programme's eligibility and selection requirements.
